Most foreign nationals, especially the pregnant women who traveled abroad to the us for baby delivering is on the increase. most of this people from other countries traveled to the US with the sole aim or intention of giving birth in the US where their babies automatically becomes an american citizens. most traveled for maternity tourism.
This was revealed when some so called maternity tourism operators arranged for pregnant Chinese women to give birth in the US where their babies would eventually become an american citizen. According to the investigation , most of this women were told to lie about the purpose of their treip when applying for visa. Some were told to wear loosed clothing to hide their pregnancies.they were promised social security numbers and US passport for their babies before returning to china.
Most of this travelers believes the US offer birth right citizen, where their children will have a secure college education and also an insurance policy, in-case of economic problems.
So far Authorities in the US customs and borders protection warns all airports and border officials of proper screening of pregnant women travel plans and medical insurance, to know if they can get entrance into the country..
So for all those who are considering travelling to the US or any where else should have a good and genuine reason for going.
